About

My name is Donna, and I live in Buffalo, NY. I am a marketing professional for a corporate law firm by day, and a grad student by night. I am currently enrolled in the Integrated Marketing Communications program at West Virginia University. It is a rigorous program and I enjoy being able to interface with a diverse group of students from around the globe.
I am in the process of relocating to the city of Buffalo with my fiancee Shaun, to the wonderful Elmwood Village district. Voted one of the 10 ‘Great Neighborhoods in America’ by the American Planning Association, the area is hip, urban and very cool. When I am not studying, I have a passion for my pets, yoga, needlecrafts, cooking and tending to my beloved orchid collection.
What’s with the blog name ? Glad you asked!
This blog is part of the requirements for the Emerging Media and the Market class (IMC 619, hence the 619 in my blog name!) My last name is Blaufuss, and in German, the translation is “blue feet.” Since I live in the often snowy Buffalo NY and this is my first blog, the name sort of stuck. I definitely got to dip my toe into blogging and switch from a cold foot to a warm blogger in nine short weeks.
I am online, and if you’d like to connect to me, please do! You can find me here:
